The Quality of the Print
A Jeff Kuhlman print is not just a photograph. It starts with the image, good film and a Mamiya RB67. The photograph is then processed carefully in Ilford's Ilfosol 3 for optimal quality in the negative. Then the negative is scanned, finished and proofed for printing. Each print is made with chroma life ink, at a minimal of 300dpi on platinum paper. Archival life is 200+ years. Then the print is inspected for flaws. After approval the print is mounted on an acid-free archival mat, then layered on backer board and placed into a bag for protection.
